Review : Chobani Mint Chocolate Chunk

Chobani is by far one of my favorite brands when it comes to Greek yogurt. They always seem to be coming out with new flavors and combinations. I found Mint Chocolate Chunk in Walmart for $1.19. On the Chobani website it is listed under the "Blended" category which is described as "yogurt and fruit mixed together in perfect harmony". Not quite sure how this flavor fits. But anyway, mint and chocolate are two of my favorite combinations. I love it in ice cream, milkshakes, candy bars, etc. Now the thing about this new flavors is that they are hit or miss. Some I have been impressed by, others are quite disappointing. Because of that, I usually have no expectations when trying new flavors. The smell of the yogurt was quite week. It smelled like mint chocolate, but very slight. The texture was no different than other yogurts - thick and smooth. Now the taste, it left quite a bit to be desired. There was no sweetness to it. The taste of mint and chocolate were pretty much close to nonexistent, it was very faint. Overall I would have to give this a 4 out of 10 starts. I would definitely not purchase this again. Have you tried this? Let me know what you think in the comments. What's your favorite Chobani flavor? By the way, I am working on getting a new camera, please forgive the blurry pictures.

New Product Organic Slammers

I can be a big kid when it comes to my snacks. And Go Gourmet has created a line of SuperFood Snacks. They offer four options with pureed fruits and vegetables. They also each contain greek yogurt which is one of our faves here. I found these in Walmart and I have tried apple sauce in pouches and they are really handy, easy snacks. Have you tried these? Let me know how they were.

New Product Alert

I found these in my local Food Lion. Surprisingly, I have never had an avocado so I have no idea if these could be tasty or not. I keep meaning to try one, but I guess I'm really not that curious. These do have jalapeno ranch dipping sauce, which makes everything better. If you've had these, or an avocado period, comment and let us know your thoughts.

New Product Alert

For some reason, recently I haven't been into potato chips as much as I used to be. But when I saw these new chips from Late July made with organic yellow corn. There is Nacho Chipotle and Jalepeno Lime. I absolutely hate any chip with lime so I'm sure that will be a no-go but I'm looking to try the Nacho Chipotle. I"m a huge fan of Spicy Nacho Doritos so maybe these will be similar. I found these at my local Walmart.

Look! A book full of kale

I would act as if I'm going to utilize these recipes to get to detox and get ready to work on my summer body. But I'm not. I just saw it at The Dollar Tree and thought, "a dollar, why not?".

Really Hunts?

I was just perusing the shelves of The Dollar Tree trying to find some lazy Memorial Day snacks when I stumbled onto this uh "tomato paste"? Hmmm....sure makes me want a big pot of spaghetti. '
